The MegaSmart™ series cameras are equipped with Lumii™ II technology which increases sensitivity and reduces video noises in low light conditions. Traditional cameras only use primary (RGB) color filters, while Lumii™ II uses a color filter sensor that allows more light to reach the sensor. As a result, clear and crisp images are captured from even the darkest environments.

Crisp images mean not only clear pictures but also cost reduction. Lumii™-enabled cameras consume less bandwidth and storage space than conventional IP cameras, thereby greatly lowering the TOC (total ownership cost).

Lumii™ II also helps to accurately reproduce the colors as seen by our eyes, even in low light environments. While color shift is a problem with conventional cameras, Lumii™ II assures precise true-to-life surveillance images all the time.

That’s not all. For IR cameras, it’s important that a camera can identify objects against a strong IR light reflection. IR cameras also require uniform levels of illumination as distances increase. Lumii™ II optimizes IR performance and illumination intensity to ensure MegaSmart™ series IR cameras capture the entire scene in full detail.
