The SCR515PRO utilizes a comprehensive array of industry-leading technologies to ensure problem-free traffic surveillance: the camera's CatchAll™ II technology delivers crisp, clear images regardless of the setting or lighting conditions. The camera also features four intelligent traffic modes, automatically switching to the one most appropriate to the image-capture environment. A breakthrough technology, these intelligent traffic modes enable the camera to capture images from vehicles travelling at speeds up to 200 kph (124 mph) and make it especially well suited to high-speed applications. The SCR515PRO's traffic surveillance capabilities are further enhanced by its industry-leading fog penetration technology, which enables it to recover real colour images from foggy or smoky video streams.
The SCR515PRO also features an advanced ICR day/night function that allows users to schedule automatic switches between colour and b/w modes. The advantage of scheduled switching over sensor-based switching is that the latter can inadvertently shift modes when subjected to transitory external lighting changes, capturing b/w images in daylight and colour images at night. Scheduled switching ensures the camera remains unaffected by such external factors and continues to capture images in the correct mode. The camera also incorporates Lumii™ II technology, which reduces image noise to deliver very crisp captures even in the dimmest conditions.
